Dear Colleague,

We would like to invite you to participate in this Workshop, that aims to bring together the co-authors, colleagues and friends of the late professor Jozsó Zimányi, one of the three founders of heavy ion physics in Hungary, the founder of the Budapest School in heavy ion physics, organizer of numerous Budapest Workshops on this topic, founder of the Hungarian experimental activity at CERN and in the PHENIX experiment at RHIC, and a dreamer of Quark Gluon Plasma for at least 30 years. As characteristic to Jozsó we would like to honor his heritage not only by remembering past achievements but much more by presenting the cutting edge developments in 2007 in high energy heavy ion physics, with particular attention to the new data emerging from the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) accelerator and also we would like to announce a last call for predictions for the forthcoming p+p and Pb+Pb collisions at CERN LHC.

Talks are by invitation only: Participants are encouraged to contact the organizers with good ideas and suggestions, but due to the special nature of this meeting, talks are arranged by invitation only. Nevertheless we would like to give a possibility to young speakers with outstanding results to present their achievements and such persons are particularly encouraged to contact one of the organizers as soon as reasonably possible. Please e-mail us your name, institute, the title and a brief abstract of your contribution, if any.

Participation fee will be 200 EUR. This fee covers banquets, meals, coffee breaks and conference proceedings. Please, visit our registration WEB-page .

Housing: As a default, participants are expected to be hosted by Hotel Normafa (****) that offers a special price for the participants of this meeting (65 euro for single, 75 euro for double occupancy). Please, visit our registration WEB-page for hotel reservation. Room reservation should be fixed by 14 May. After this date we can not guarantee room in Hotel Normafa.

Nearby meeting: Since no strong interest appeared on the special bus between this this Memorial Workshop and the nearby meeting of Strangeness in Quark Matter 2007 conference (to be held in Levoca, Slovakia, 24 - 29 June, 2007), thus we cancelled the reservation of the bus. We can recommend the train between Levoca and Budapest. If you need assistance, please contact us at the SQM07 Conference or by e-mail.

Outstanding Students are particularly encouraged to attend this Workshop, but their fee will have to be payed this time.
