Our library uses the ExLibris ALMA library management system with Primo VE as its online search engine. This search service not only allows you to browse our library's entire holdings, but also to search for subscribed databases and online journals, as well as Open Access content.

Our holdings include 55 119 books, 2 782 electronic books for remote access, 41 658 journal units, 2 208 research reports, 16 electronic documents (CD/DVD), and 3 books of museum value. The books and journals are also borrowed through the Alma library system. Registered readers can also subscribe to borrowable items found in the Primo VE search engine.

How to log in to your user account:

Our registered readers can log in with an individual login, after entering their ID and password (you can request login IDs from your librarians). Wigner RCP staff can also log in to Primo VE with Shibboleth (EduID) identification.

Once logged in, you can view your personal data, loans, loan requests and digitisation requests, and any blocks or messages.

Once logged in to Primo VE, you can save your searches, mark your results as favourites, view your search history and even export the results in various formats (ris, bibtex, endnote, etc.).
