All foreign visitors
must have a valid passport. For
visits shorter than 90 days, no visa is required for citizens of most European
countries, Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, the United States and a number of
other countries. Citizens of the
European Union,
Croatia,
Lichtenstein,
and Switzerland
can visit Hungary with their domestic identity
card. Nevertheless, participants are advised to keep their passports

Visa is required for visitors from Russia and most states
of the former Soviet Union. Those who experience any trouble in getting visa to Hungary should
not hesitate to contact the local organisers immediately.

Please note that Hungary is not
participating in the Schengen agreement of the European Union, hence
a Schengen visa is not suitable to enter Hungary.
