D.L. Nagy: Fields of research
General interest:
Application of nuclear methods (mainly of Mössbauer spectroscopy) in
- solid state physics,
- materials sciences,
- inorganic/physical chemistry.
Special interest:
Nuclear resonant scattering of synchrotron radiation:
- Synchrotron Mössbauer Reflectometry,
- magnetic thin films (coupling, anisotropy, domain formation
and transformation)
Mössbauer emission spectroscopy:
- low-energy electronic excitations following the electron capture,
- aliovalent charge states and their relaxation.
